Monica: Hey, where is everybody?

Rachel: They took Ben to the park. Where've you been?

Monica: Just out. Had some lunch, just me, little quality time with me. Thanks for your jacket.

Rachel: Oh, no problem. You can borrow it, by the way. Here are your keys, hon. 

Monica: Okay.

Rachel: Mon, if uh you were at lunch alone, how come it cost you uh 53 dollars?

Monica: You know what probably happened? Someone musta stolen my credit card.

Rachel: And sorta just put the receipt back in your pocket?

Monica: That is an excellent excellent question. That is excellent.

Rachel: Monica, what is with you? Who'd you have lunch with?

Monica: Judy.

Rachel: Who?

Monica: Julie.

Rachel: What?!

Monica: Jody!

Rachel: You were with Julie?

Monica: Look, when it started I was just trying to be nice to her because she was my brother's girlfriend. And then, one thing led to another and, before I knew it, we were...shopping.

Rachel: Oh. Oh my God.

Monica: Honey, wait. We only did it once. It didn't mean anything to me.

Rachel: Yeah, right. Sure!

Monica: Really, Rachel, I was thinking of you the whole time. Look, I'm sorry, all right. I never meant for you to find out!

Rachel: Oh, please, you wanted to get caught. 

Monica: That is not true!

Rachel: Oh, so you just sort of happened to leave it in here?

Monica: Did it ever occur to you that I might just be that stupid?

Rachel: Ok, Monica. I just have to know one thing. Did you go with her to Bloomingdale's? Oh! Ok, ok, ok, I just really, uh, I just really need to not be with you right now. 

 

Monica: Hey, where is everybody?

안녕, 다들 어디 갔어?

 

Rachel: They took Ben to the park. Where've you been?

벤을 공원에 데리고 갔어. 넌 어딨었어? 

 

Monica: Just out. Had some lunch, just me, little quality time with me. Thanks for your jacket.

그냥 좀 나갔다 왔어. 나 혼자서 점심 좀 먹었어. 나 혼자 의미 있는 시간을 좀 보냈지. 재킷 잘 입었어.

 

Rachel: Oh, no problem. You can borrow it, by the way. Here are your keys, hon. 

오, 천만에. 재킷 빌려도 돼. 어쨌든, 여기 너의 열쇠, 허니.

 

Monica: Okay.

모니카, 어, 혼자서 점심을 먹었다면서, 어째서 53달러가 나온거야?

 

Monica: You know what probably happened? Someone musta stolen my credit card.

무슨 일이 일어났는지 알아? 누가 내 신용카드를 쓰고 있는 게 분명해. 

 

Rachel: And sorta just put the receipt back in your pocket?

그리고 네 주머니에 영수증을 도로 넣어놨다고? 

 

Monica: That is an excellent excellent question. That is excellent.

그거 참 훌륭하고 좋은 지적이야. 예리해.

 

Rachel: Monica, what is with you? Who'd you have lunch with?

모니카, 너 뭐가 문제야? 누가 너랑 점심 먹었는데?

 

Monica: Judy.

 

Rachel: Who?

 

Monica: Julie.

 

Rachel: What?!

 

Monica: Jody!

 

Rachel: You were with Julie?

너 줄리랑 있었어?

 

Monica: Look, when it started I was just trying to be nice to her because she was my brother's girlfriend. And then, one thing led to another and, before I knew it, we were...shopping.

봐, 이게 시작됐을 땐 난 그녀에게 단지 잘해주고 싶었어. 왜냐하면 오빠의 여자친구이니까. 어쩌다 보니 나도 모르는 사이에 우리가 쇼핑을 하고 있었어.

*one thing leads to another 한 가지 일이 그 다음 일로 자연스럽게 이어지다, 뭐 어떻게 하다보니 그렇게 되었다

 

Rachel: Oh. Oh my God.

 

Monica: Honey, wait. We only did it once. It didn't mean anything to me.

자기, 기다려. 단 한 번이었어. 내겐 아무 의미도 없었어. 

 

Rachel: Yeah, right. Sure!

 

Monica: Really, Rachel, I was thinking of you the whole time. Look, I'm sorry, all right. I never meant for you to find out!

정말이야, 레이첼. 계속 네 생각만 했었어. 이봐, 미안해, 알았어. 네가 알게 하려던 건 아니었어!

 

Rachel: Oh, please, you wanted to get caught. 

오, 제발 좀, 너 들키고 싶었던 거잖아.

 

Monica: That is not true!

그건 사실이 아니야!

 

Rachel: Oh, so you just sort of happened to leave it in here?

오, 그러면 너 영수증을 여기 안에 우연히 넣은거야?

 

Monica: Did it ever occur to you that I might just be that stupid?

내가 그렇게 멍청한지 몰랐어? ​

 

Rachel: Ok, Monica. I just have to know one thing. Did you go with her to Bloomingdale's? Oh! Ok, ok, ok, I just really, uh, I just really need to not be with you right now. 

좋아, 모니카. 나 그냥 하나만 알고싶어. 그 애랑 블루밍데일에 갔었어? 오! 그래, 그래, 그래, 난 정말...어... 난 지금 당장 진짜로 너랑 같이 있고 싶지 않아.
