Monica: Now, Mom, everything's going fine, really. Yeah, Ross is great. He's uh, he's in a whole other place. No, he's gone. No no, you don't have to fly back, really. What do you mean this might be your only chance? Would you stop? I'm only 26, I'm not even thinking about babies yet.

Chandler: Where have you been?

Joey: Oh, just had a baby.

Chandler: Mazel tov!

 

Dr: I don't know, could be an hour, could be three, but relax, she's doing great. So, uh, tell me, are you currently involved with anyone?

Rachel: No, no, not at the moment, no, I'm not. Are you?

Dr: No, it's hard enough to get women to go out with me.

Rachel: Right, yeah, I've heard that about cute doctors.

Dr: No, no, really. I suppose it's because I spend so much time, you know, where I do.

Rachel: Oh.

Dr: I try not to let my work affect my personal life, but it's hard, when you... do what I do. It's like uh...Well, for instance, what do you do?

Rachel: I'm a waitress.

Dr: Ok, all right, well aren't there times when you come home at the end of the day, and you're just like, 'if I see one more cup of coffee'...

Rachel: Yeah. Gotcha.

Dr: I'm gonna go check up on your friend.

Rachel: Ok. That's fine.

엄마, 다 잘되고 있어요, 네, 오빠도 잘하고 있구요. 지금 어딘가 있어요, 아녜요. 사라졌어요. 아뇨 아뇨, 엄마는 오실필요없어요. 유일한 기회가 될지도 모른다니 무슨 말이예요? 그만 좀 하세요. 이제 26살이예요. 아직 아기 갖고 싶은 생각 없어요

 

Chandler: Where have you been?

어디 있었어?

 

Joey: Oh, just had a baby.

방금 아기 받았어.

 

Chandler: Mazel tov!

Dr: I don't know, could be an hour, could be three, but relax, she's doing great. So, uh, tell me, are you currently involved with anyone?

나도 몰라요. 한시간이 걸릴수도 있고 세시간 정도일지도, 하지만 잘 하고 있으니까 걱정말아요. 요즘 만나고 있는 사람 있어요?

 

Rachel: No, no, not at the moment, no, I'm not. Are you?

아뇨. 아뇨. 지금은 아뇨. 없어요. 당신은요?

 

Dr: No, it's hard enough to get women to go out with me.

아뇨. 나와 데이트할 여성을 찾기가 상당히 어려워요.

 

Rachel: Right, yeah, I've heard that about cute doctors.

맞아요. 네. 귀여운 의사들에 대해 들은적 있어요

 

Dr: No, no, really. I suppose it's because I spend so much time, you know, where I do.

아뇨. 아뇨. 진짜로. 내 생각에 그건 내가 알다시피 내가 일하는 곳에서 많은 시간을 보내기 때문인 것 같아요.

 

Rachel: Oh.

내 직업이 사생활에 영햘을 끼치지 않도록 애는 쓰지만, 그게 힘들어요. 아무래도 일이 일이라...예를 들면, 직업이 뭐에요?

 

Rachel: I'm a waitress.

웨이트리스예요. 

 

Dr: Ok, all right, well aren't there times when you come home at the end of the day, and you're just like, 'if I see one more cup of coffee'...

좋아요. 하루 일을 끝내고 집에 왔을 때, 이런 생각이 문득 들지 않던가요? '커피 한 잔만 더 보면 난 미칠거야...' 

 

Rachel: Yeah. Gotcha.

Dr: I'm gonna go check up on your friend.

당신 친구를 보러 가야겠어요.

 

Rachel: Ok. That's fine.
